2024 85th Hanyang
The year 2024 was one of bold challenges and remarkable achievements for Hanyang University.
Seven of our researchers were recognized among the world’s top 0.1% researchers, showcasing
our leadership in groundbreaking research and pioneering technological advancements.
In education, we broke free from conventional models by establishing Hanyang Intercollege and
ERICA LIONS College, redefining the learning experience and fostering interdisciplinary excellence.
This transformative approach contributed to a record-high admission competition rate for the
2025 academic year, further solidifying Hanyang University’s prestige and competitiveness.
We also strengthened our research infrastructure by collaborating with industry partners to
establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor cleanroom and launching the Beyond-G Global
Innovation Center, which will lead the next generation of communication technologies.
Beyond research and academic achievements, Hanyang took the lead in promoting social value.
In 2024, we hosted Asia’s first Homeless World Cup, spreading the spirit of ‘Love in Deed and Truth’
on a global scale.
Hanyang University’s 2024 will be remembered as a year of balanced growth, marked by
expansion in both scale and substance.
